Just found out Talkdemonic released an album and toured with Modest Mouse this year. Who knew?

First listen: bye bye folkiness, hello delicious soundscapes. This band has taken on a very different sound from their first two and it is by far their best effort to date.

I can see this competing for my album of the year alongside Tycho’s “Dive”.
